“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”
– Plato
Early exposure to music and movement provides opportunities for comfort, exploration, structure, meaningful play, increased attention span, and multi-sensory stimulation, motor skill development, establishes behavioral expectations, and motivates positive participation within a group.
Under Musical Construction has been offering this unique music program to the Atlanta area for more than 25 years!
Why is music with
Under Musical Construction unique?
- We recognize that each child has a specific learning style, whether visual, auditory or kinesthetic
- We know the ultimate way to learn is through play!
- We use a variety of instruments like rhythm sticks, bells, drums, rainsticks, tone bars, shakers, etc.
- We incorporate poetry, prose, finger chants, rhymes, and literature.
- Movement is part of every lesson.
- We utilize the songs of different cultures, exposing young children to a vast array of musical styles.
- As the seasons of the year change and evolve, so do the activities in music from week to week.
Classes meet once a week for 30 minutes.
Our classes are broken down developmentally by age groups.
Intimate and warm, we provide the perfect environment in which to learn.
